The Fourth Respect the Aged Day
Tuesday 8th April
With continued success over the past three years, Cafe Alf Resco in Dartmouth are once again supporting Respect the Aged Day. This important community event on Tuesday 8th April, will be celebrated by Kate and the Crew by offering all Octogenarians a complimentary breakfast at Alf’s between 7am and 2pm.
Respect the Aged Day celebrates later life, which is the theme of the most recent campaign of Age UK to #lovelaterlife with poet Roger McGough penning a celebratory poem ‘Time flies, they say, but it’s us who fly; Time sits on its hands as we rush by.; And life has a way of gathering speed; So seize the day, we’re a special breed’.
For more details about the day please contact Leanne or Kate on email@example.com or call 01803 835880
